About Our B&T Programs
Our company offers a personalized experience catering our programs to each individual dog and their owner(s). With our years of experience, we understand that dogs need real-life training for real-life results. We prioritize quality over quantity, focusing on exposing dogs to the situations and scenarios they will encounter in the real world.
To equip you and your dog with the necessary tools, skills, and knowledge for success in your daily routine, training must occur in an environment similar to the one in which they will live. Therefore, your dog stays and lives with us, rather than in a kennel. This approach helps your dog learn not only obedience but also the rules and boundaries of living with people, both inside and outside the home.
By limiting the number of dogs we take in at any given time, we ensure our attention remains where it should be: on our clients and their dogs, rather than on maximizing profits. This limited capacity also benefits dogs with reactivity and aggression issues, preventing these issues from worsening in a kennel environment.
Puppies and young dogs also thrive better in a more controlled environment, without the stress of 30-plus dogs reacting to every passerby. This approach prevents them from picking up undesirable behaviors.
Our Board and Train programs include ongoing support and resources. We provide a two hour In-Home Go-Home Lesson, 4 In-Home Follow-Up Lessons, free phone support and free group classes for the life of your dog. All the necessary equipment to ensure effective training and communication with your dog is also included.
Our program lengths are thoughtfully designed to reflect the importance of having a reliable and confident canine companion. While our programs are customizable in length, we believe that quality training takes time and patience. We don't rush through the process just to move clients in and out quickly. Instead, we focus on ensuring that both you and your dog are genuinely learning and retaining the skills presented. By taking this time, we’re able to deliver results that truly matter. However, if we find that your dog is retaining and learning the skills at an acceptable rate we are flexible on program lengths and pricing will be reflective of the time spent with us.

Puppy Board and Train
For Puppies 12 Weeks to 6 Months Our Puppy Board & Train Program is designed to give puppies a strong, structured foundation during their most critical developmental period. This program focuses on building clarity, engagement, and reliable habits that set your puppy up for long-term success. Throughout the program, puppies learn essential obedience skills including loose leash walking, sit, down, place, and an introduction to recall using a long line. Training is done in real-life environments to help puppies learn how to focus and respond appropriately around everyday distractions. A key component of this program is engagement and relationship-building. Through structured engagement games, we teach your puppy that working with people is more valuable than outside distractions. By controlling access to important resources—such as food, play, and freedom—puppies learn how to earn what they want through calm, appropriate behavior. In addition to obedience, puppies are taught how to live successfully in a home environment. This includes boundary training, managing arousal levels in various settings, and addressing common puppy behaviors such as counter surfing, getting into the trash, and potty training. These skills help prevent problem behaviors before they become long-term habits. On-Leash Board and Train
Our On-Leash Board & Train Program is designed for adult dogs that need additional guidance, structure, and consistency to succeed in everyday life. This program is ideal for dogs struggling with obedience reliability, impulse control, and general behavioral challenges. Reactivity and certain forms of aggression can also be addressed, though these behaviors may require additional time and ongoing owner involvement. The focus of this program is rebuilding a strong foundation built on clarity, structure, and accountability. Dogs learn that access to valuable resources—such as freedom, attention, and rewards—must be earned through calm, appropriate behavior. Clear rules and boundaries are established to address unwanted or problematic behaviors and to create predictability in daily routines. Throughout the program, your dog will be trained in the five core obedience commands: sit, down, place, heel, and an introduction to recall on a long line. Equal emphasis is placed on teaching dogs how to manage their arousal levels and understand that calm behavior is the path to achieving desired outcomes. Off-Leash (ECollar) Board and Train
The Off-Leash Board & Train Program is our most popular service for owners seeking reliable obedience and real-world control without shortcuts. This comprehensive program delivers faster results through structured training, clear communication, and consistent expectations—while still prioritizing long-term success. Your dog will learn both on-leash and off-leash obedience, as well as appropriate house manners and responsiveness in everyday situations. A major focus of this program is proper e-collar education. Rather than relying on correction, the e-collar is used as a communication tool that helps activate behaviors and turns off once the dog makes the correct choice. When trained this way, dogs develop a clearer understanding of expectations and greater confidence in their responses. This program can also address reactivity and mild aggression. While many dogs see significant improvement, some cases may require additional training time and ongoing owner commitment to reach optimal results. What’s Included: 2–3 Hour Go-Home Lesson 5 In-Home Follow-Up Lessons Unlimited Group Lessons at Brighton Rec Center Training Equipment for Effective Communication 4-Week Off-Leash Program: $3,250 • 15% Cash Discount • 20% Military & First Responder Discount
Behavior Modification Board and Train
Our Behavior Modification Board and Train Program is designed for dogs experiencing moderate to severe behavioral challenges, including aggression toward dogs and/or people, as well as significant fear and anxiety-related behaviors. This program is ideal for dogs who require a higher level of structure, consistency, and carefully controlled exposure to their triggers. In some cases, depending on the severity and presentation of the behavior, dogs displaying reactivity or mild aggression may be better suited for our Standard or Off-Leash Day Train Programs. Program placement is determined during your evaluation to ensure the safest and most effective approach for your dog. Creating lasting behavioral change requires time, repetition, and controlled exposure. Throughout this program, dogs work extensively around their specific triggers in a structured, intentional manner. Equally important, owners must be willing to implement certain lifestyle and routine adjustments to create predictability, structure, and clear expectations at home—key components in long-term behavior modification success. For dogs exhibiting severe human-directed aggression, private lessons may be required prior to enrollment. These sessions allow us to safely build rapport with your dog, establish foundational communication, and set the program up for success. All dogs enrolled in this program must be comfortable entering and exiting a crate without resistance, as crate use is an important component of safe handling and structure. 6 week program: $5,500 *15% Off Cash Discount *20% Off Military and First Responder
